The position is nothing like trying to convince someone they need to buy a piece of equipment or that they should invest their retirement savings with our firm, but rather a professional, consultative, and ultimately extremely rewarding process of discovery. At the end of the day, recruitment services truly make a difference in peoples' lives, whether it's helping a person find a position, or helping a company find that key employee. I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to contribute to the company in a myriad of ways, from a sales person to a manager and now in an operations role, with a diverse and ever changing set of responsibilities.
If you are considering a career in recruiting, in my somewhat biased opinion, go for it! I have told many people over the years that I feel very lucky that I stumbled into a field that I love.

On a personal note, there have been many team awards (#1 office companywide) and individual achievements including four #1 companywide sales awards and a promotion to Vice President of Sales at my 10 year anniversary mark, but what gives me the most satisfaction is placing someone who is unemployed into a new position; seeing a candidate make a substantial jump from one company to another to better their live hood & career; or helping a company build their organization with their most valuable asset - their employees. I have been very fortunate to have been a recruiter for this amount of time and look forward to the next 24 years at CulverCareers!
